Trunyan Village, celebrated as part of the Bali Aga or Ancient Bali heritage, offers a distinctive glimpse into traditions and daily life that diverge from the mainstream Balinese society. The customs of Trunyan Village prescribe a unique burial method, with three designated burial areas (sema) for different types of deaths. Bodies that pass away naturally are placed in Sema Wayah beneath the Taru Menyan tree, known for its naturally fragrant aroma that neutralizes the smell of decay. Meanwhile, victims of unnatural deaths are placed in Sema Bantas, and infants as well as unmarried adults are placed in Sema Muda. This burial tradition, involving the placement of bodies in bamboo cages under a fragrant tree, reflects a profound connection between life, death, and nature, making Trunyan Village a site rich in cultural and spiritual value.

Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation fee of 50% of the total payment is charged if the booking is canceled within one day of the scheduled pick-up.
No-shows will incur a charge of 100% of the total payment.
